Our office will contact you 24 hours before your appointment to confirm your scheduled arrival time and provide prep instructions.
You may be asked to remove clothing and jewelry depending on the area of your body being examined - these objects may interfere with the quality of the images.
You may be asked to wear a hospital gown to cover yourself during the exam.
Our technologist will prepare and guide you by explaining the procedure, and positioning you to ensure the highest quality images are obtained from your exam.
Most Ultrasounds are usually completed within 30 to 60 minutes.
Once the exam is complete, a radiologist will review the study and dictate a report. This report will be sent to the doctor who ordered your study.
Results are available within 24 - 48 hours.
We recommend that you call and schedule a follow-up appointment with your healthcare provider to discuss the results.
